Pebbles get kicked up by the tires. This is not in front of or behind the tires so there will be absolutely no issues with noise. I have had it on my car for over 3,000 miles now, including a trip to Zdayz 700+ miles highway and thru the dragon multiple times and have not heard anything. Almost everything under your car is metal, Exhaust, Trans, Engine, Crossmembers, rear suspension ect. Do you hear rocks hitting it? You have more of a chance of a rock hitting your license plate :) It does not get hot as its not that close to anything in the engine compartment. It may get slightly warm to the touch but nothing major.
